An old enrichtment design, only valid for EURO4 and previous euro versions.

Totally incomparable with our PowerFlow EURO5.

The problem with this old design is that it does not enrich the mixture in a sustained manner. In winter it makes the mixture fatter than necessary, while in summer it makes it leaner.
In addition, the EURO5 standard in Bosch ECUs has verification algorithms to identify connected external devices. For example, a typical algorithm compares the coolant temperatures with the air sensor temperature when the bike has been stopped for more than 6 hours. At that time the temperatures should be identical, but with this type of pre-EURO5 devices the air temperature will be 10-15 degrees lower. Therefore the ECU will detect the external device. In this situation, the ECU EURO5 can act in two different ways:
1.- Generating an error message
2.- Not generating an error message but ignoring the temperature sensor values, so the bike would run without enrichment.
